Windmill Hill Park Proposal

Alexandria, Virginia.

Just a few days prior to this session, my client contacted me to help him plan his perfect proposal! We had to act fast, as the session date was only a few days away. I was immediately so excited! I love surprises, and I was thrilled to capture his proposal.

He planned to start with a picnic, take a walk in the park, and pop the question on this beautiful bridge in Windmill Hill Park in Alexandria, VA. This is a gorgeous park with waterfront features, and beautiful brick townhomes as a background

After he got on one knee and asked his now-betrothed to marry him, we let the emotions flow and subside and finished off the evening with a quick couples session to celebrate.

I couldn’t have hoped for a more beautiful day. The plan went off perfectly, and resulted in an absolutely magical proposal. We’re planning engagement photos soon! I can’t wait to work with these two again.
