Portrait Session at Green Spring Gardens, Alexandria VA

I absolutely love lifestyle portraits! Getting to work one-on-one with a client is so much fun, and so rewarding.

This client reached out looking for Lifestyle Photos for her upcoming business launch - we were looking for a floral theme for this portrait session, so we headed to a local botanical garden - Green Spring Gardens in Alexandria, Virginia.

These gorgeous purple flowers smelled so good! They must have just bloomed. 

Our session started out strong, but we were interrupted by a torrential downpour of rain! Oh no!

We camped out under a large tree in the middle of Green Spring Gardens, and waited out the storm!

I personally think the rain added some character to the setting, and made for some gorgeous images. 

Green Spring Gardens offers a diverse set of locations that are perfect for couples or portrait sessions. It’s full to the brim of lush trees, bushes, and flowers.

A little bit of motion adds some depth and emotion to the scene. 

Honestly this park has so much variability! I love walking down the trails and paths and finding new places and scenes for different images.

She brought a great attitude to our session! I love love love these!
