2941 Restaurant Wedding in Northern Virginia

Rain on your wedding day brings good luck! 

I recently had the pleasure of photographing a wedding for this couple at 2941 Restaurant in Falls Church, Virginia. As I was setting up and preparing for the activities to start, it started to rain! As a Wedding Photographer in Northern Virginia, i’m no stranger to changing plans due to the weather. We brought umbrellas just in case, which made this wedding incredibly special!

I worked with the couple while they separately got ready for their ceremony. The Groom finished writing his vows, while the Bride put on her dress. Meanwhile, the rain was picking up!

The bride planned to meet her father outside, and he was about to arrive! We grabbed our umbrellas and, and went out to meet him.

The rain was pouring!

That didn’t stop us though! The Maid of Honor walked the bride out under an umbrella to meet her father.

Everything is in place, and it’s time for our ceremony to start!

The couple said their vows, and sealed their marriage with a kiss and toast.

The best wedding photographers are always prepared. We had to change our plans to an indoor ceremony due to the rain, but that didn’t stop the ceremony from being one of the most beautiful and memorable ceremonies i’ve ever experienced.

We took a break, and grabbed some photos with family and friends, before again braving the rain for photos of the newlyweds.

A beautiful day, for a beautiful couple, with a beautiful union.
